Anchor's Summer Bible Study--Starting Weds, July 21, 7:30 pm.

Anchor's traditional summer Bible study begins Weds., July 21, 7:30-8:30 pm. We'll continue to meet for the next 3 Wednesdays (last meeting is August 11). We're meeting at Aaron and Andrea Zimmerman's home (location and directions here) and light refreshments will be provided. Join us as we discuss some fascinating Biblical passages, always trying to see how the Christian message connects with our everyday lives. Friends welcome!

Cheers! Anchor's Wine Tasting and Summer Party (Sat., July 24, 7pm)

Anchor is hosting a fantastic summer party. Join us Saturday, July 24, at 7pm, at the home of Dan and Loretta Brooks (they live near Allegheny Country Club in Sewickley Heights; for the address and driving directions, RSVP and we'll send you the info via email).

St. Stephen’s own Andy Kozusko (Grove City College alum, Pittsburgh native, and attorney) will lead a wine tasting, introducing us to some fabulous but lesser-known summer wines, paired with some delicious hor d'oeuvres.

Details: Unfortunately, we are unable to provide childcare for this event. The event is free, but w

e will collect a what church-types like to call a "Love offering"--that is, if you can spare a few bucks, it would help us out!

Evensong--Weds, July 14 (Tonight!)

Anchor's monthly Evensong service is tonight. 7:30pm in the Sanctuary. Childcare provided in the nursery (Red Room). This beautiful, contemplative service of Evening Prayer combines ancient forms of Christian prayer with acoustic music that features hymns as well as contemporary worship songs. Many have found this service to be something of an oasis in our hectic lives. All welcome!
