Liz Lemon is Coming!

Anchor's new dinner-and-discussion series is kicking off! Here are the details:

What: “I Love Liz Lemon: 30 Rock and Life’s Big Questions.” A dinner-and-discussion series on TV’s (arguably) funniest show. Our first night opens with the topic of rebellion in the context of Season 2’s fourth episode, “Rosemary’s Baby.” Every week, after we get the show’s perspective, we’ll examine what the Christian response might be.
When: Wednesdays, Nov 18, Dec 2, Dec 9, from 6:30-8:30 PM. NO MEETING ON WEDS, NOV 25.

Where: Grace Commons at St. Stephen’s. Corner of Walnut and Frederick St, Sewickley, PA.

Details: Dinner for $5. Free childcare in the nursery.

And to whet your appetite, one of the current season's funniest moments (with a cameo by Jimmy Fallon):

Evensong: Weds, Nov 11 at 7:30 pm

On Wednesday, November 11, from 7:30-8:30 pm in the sanctuary at St. Stephen's, Anchor is hosting Evensong, a monthly come-as-you-are service of music and prayer. The music is acoustic and combines hymns and newer Christian songs. The space is candlelit and contemplative. The prayers reflect our ancient Anglican heritage. Our hope is all comers would seek God and find him in music, prayer, and scripture. Free childcare provided in the nursery. All welcome!
